Man alive am I tired! But what a great time! I think I'll log my finds tomorrow, or I'll never get to sleep.
Congrats JungleBuss (Greg and Tracy) for pulling out the win for the second year in a row. You guys really did it with 42 finds , a number of FTFs and from what I hear (because even though I tried, I didn't find any of your caches) five really fantastic hides!
Congrats also to Hunter-Killer (arguably the kindest cachers in Thunder Bay
) for winning the favourite cache award! You guys managed to sneak away before I presented the trophies, so I'll have to get yours to you later, maybe at the coin event?
I'll save the rest of my comments for later, but in case you don't check out the
home page
often, check it out today for a summary and a list of the top caches as voted by the folks at the wrap-up. GOOD NIGHT!

Hello Shroom... now that the SCC 2009 is over, I guess that makes JungleBus the Spring Featured Cachers.
We know that you usually do your interviews/expose on the Featured cachers, so we composed a list of some questions that, if you could somehow work into your interview, would really give insight into the many items we wonder about the Buses.
1) When did they first get their caching superpowers? Was is something cool like being bitten by a radioactive travel bug?
2) I take it the "JungleBus" refers to their minivan... does that thing got a hemi? What is its top speed anyway? Who do they pay off on the force?
3) Being repeat challenge champions, does Greg believe that he'll be doing a Gillette commercial anytime soon?
4) Have the Stahl brothers called them for their autographs yet?
5) With their continual dominance in the sport, have they ever been concerned that the other jealous cachers might pool their resources and hire Hunter/Killer to "take em out"?
6) Have they ever been in a Challenge situation where their babysitter wasn't available?... and what would it take to create a situation like this?
7) Finally, are they planning any trips in the autumn months where they will be unavailable to cache or out of country? Say around October? If so when??? ... and would they be very disappointed if the Fall Cache Challenge just happened to fall on those dates?
Please keep these in mind for your inteview and write-up... Thanks!

I am in Dryden now, starting to log more of my and pnutbeagle's finds.
We managed 4 event finds today (#59, 14, 32, and 26) and 2 DNF (#16 - distance too far, needed to get out of the city, #64 - never found the first stage)
After I left Thunder Bay, I decided to drive in to the train tunnel and managed to find "Grand Truck". Interesting concept - a couples of time back 'n forth in the tunnel with the flashlight - tried to imagine what 85 metres would be in the tunnel - found the clue for the first stage and the container - The next challenge was to find the final cache location - after I realised that I wasn't going to find it while standing in the former rail bed, I made the climb - lost the GPS at one point - backtracked and found it - about 5-10 minutes of searching and the cache was found. STF on that cache also.
Anyway back to entering event logs

Well thanks for the kind words Darren, we had to be at another function at 8 but guess we were fashionably late. Knowing Chris's #10 cache was not found almost killed us as we left for a friends birthday party. (We ended up getting it the next morning)As far as Marathon Man being voted favorite, we thank every one but Chris's home made pvc tube lock "a true riddle" and Jim's homemade entry scout trees for Canada were just ones that blew us away, jungle buses once a year was another., poomhas upper limit and of course Q & A's das boot, get off the paved's whitewater multi . Sorry but there are probably more but for now just exhausted and tired and really can't wait for the morning to get a few more. We have not done all the caches and I am sure there are more. So many our heads are spinning this was just a fun weekend and was worth taking a couple of days annual vacation to participate. May regret it in the fall for hunting season but fun none the less.
Congratulations to team Junglebus nice hides, and thank you for taking the time for making them special, that does not go unnoticed.

If you don't like the way I drive....Stay off the sidewalk.
Animals taste good.
Learn how to use a compass. Gps is fine until it does not work, and it sucks to have to eat your friends to live.

All of the Travel Bugs and Geocoins that I deposited in the SCC2009 Event and WWFM V Event were picked up by other geocachers.
There are still TB's and geocoin still deposited in each event.
If you took a TB or Geocoin to move on to another cache, Please retrieve these items from each of hte events. as soon as possible.
Messages are now coming in from the TB and Geocoin owners asking when the TB and Geocoins will be retrieved from the event and moved on.
All the TB's and Geocions will need to be retrieved before hte evnts can be archived.
So Please retrieve them out of hte Events ASAP
Thanks
