Boy Am I glad that I have a Brother Laser-Jet Printer. I can get 2,000 pages printed or more before I have to buy a new cartridge for about $75.00. Sure beats an ink-jet. The last Brother laser jet I bought was $150 at The Source Intercity mall. I bought one for $80 two summers ago for my son for college.
I also have a colour laser-jet printer - $400 from Tiger Direct, I can get over 1,500 colour copies before I have to replace any cartridges. Still on 3v of th 4 original cartridge. Bought one for my son for college. Konica-Minolta - best investment I even made.
Ink-Jets are a waste of money - When I used a colour ink-jet, every time I wanted to print something in colour the cartridge would be no good.
I think I am still on my second Brother Laser-jet - wore out the first after about 5 years of service. I even bought a 3rd one to bring out west with me.
So that is my 2 cents worth on printers.
