COG's Fifth annual Spring Fling has just been published, and If you havent done so already please log your will attend!

WE WILL BE ATTEMPTING MEGA-EVENT STATUS THIS YEAR FOLKS!
GC 1 MG EV !!!

To do this we need a few hundred people saying very clearly that they will be attending this event.  Come on Norwesters!!  Come laugh at our measely terrain!!

PLEASE DO EVERYTHING IN YOUR POWER O TELL EVERY CACHER YOU KNOW TO COME TO THIS EVENT. PLEASE!! WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT!!!

We got Burgers, events, burgers, tons of loggable caches to be published that day, humerous Travel bugs, BURGERS, on-site kamping, hundreds of acres of wilderness to explore, geocoins, burgers, a few side events, and yes, some of the best burgers this side of W17.

Think you have tasted a real Burger? You haven't tasted anything till you tried a Trentwhich. The Trent Severn Canal was actually named in anticipation of this humburger, almost 100 years ago.

If you are looking for a way to spend a weekend we will keep you more then busy! Come and join us for the fun!

Just a reminder that the Central Ontario Geocachers are trying to attain MEGA status for their event and they need our help. To qualify for MEGA event status they need 500 RSVP's on the cache listing. That means that you can help them out if you want by posting an RSVP to the listing.

But what if I'm not going to attend? Well, Juicepig would be best to answer this one, so I'll let him answer, but I'm thinking that even if it's a remote possibility that you'll attend, they might like your RSVP. Isn't that right?

Hi everyone!  just in case your weekend plans involve like 30h of driving to come to our event (don't worry, I understand, lol) - Wherigo is published now for those interested in downloading the cartridge before hand!

we have about 700 will-attendees at the moment, hopefully that might give us a spift new icon after the fact!  If we get Mega it also means we can hold an automatic mega event next year too - hopefully we can find a place a little further North (I'm not just being a kiss-up, this is actually what we want to do!)

We got enough attendees to convince groundspeak to give us the Mega status.  Ontario now has a new icon!  If you are interested, we will be trying to hold next years event around the same time (early June 2010) - Hope to see a few of you there!
