WWFM IV: Snow or Shine in Marathon

Just to let you know that I will be hosting a WWFM IV event in Marathon on Saturday, November 8, 2008

GC1GYQK - WWFM IV: Snow or Shine in Marathon


This is a 15-minute event starting at 10:00 AM sharp and ending at 10:15 AM sharp.

We (jleecollins, pnutbeagle, rs x two, STATSMAN595) gathered with a cold wind present waiting for the snow to appear. There were some flurries about 2 hours later.  We are expecting 5 cm of snow over night. People were probably wondering why we were standing on in the middle of the field in the cold wind.

It was a small event attended by most of the active geocachers in the town of Marathon.  We traded stories about our geocaching adventures. An unactivated geocoin was given to the rs x two and STATSMAN595.  We matched the attendance for the WWFM III Event in the Spring (4).
