OK - we see OCT 1 clearly in the rules... guess we should read your rules eh?   :P

Do you have a fancy FCC 2010 HTTP item yet with kind words about not looking for this cache until the FCC?  If it is out there also, just let us know where to get it.

Thanks.

Wow this event is only 3 weeks away and we having seen a single cache placed yet...

Might be a fast event if there is nothing to search for  :P

**EDIT: I've also noticed that so far nobody has bothered to post, on the GC.com event listing, there intentions to attend the event... Almost seems like people are black listing the FCC this year.

One approved:  A Fungus Amongus GC2F2JQ small traditional

The other...... to close to another cache. This is like playing battle ship.

Yay! Caches!

Don't forget to RSVP. I'm going to call in for reservations at Montana's in a week, so be sure to post your RSVP before then! Thanks! :)

Would it be possible for people to give a general area of the caches that they have placed to make it easier to know what areas to avoid?  Since we're on our honour not to search anyways closer to the date... or is that no fun giving away locations?

I think we discussed this one in the past and there was a lot of objections to releasing general locations.

I for one wouldn't see an issue with it, but then I'm the trusting type who thinks people would be good and not do any "scouting"...

I propose that we add a new category for some extra points.   We should have a best named cache award!!
There are at least two contenders right now:   shroomAzoom Is A Puzzle and A Fungus Amongus.

You can use the following HTML code in your cache description to include the FCC Logo and description. Also, to help identify caches, please start your cache name with "FCC2010". You can remove "FCC2010" after the event if you'd like.

This cache was hidden for the Fall Cache Challenge. Do not look for it before 1pm, Sunday, October 3, 2010!

Got out to hide three caches this afternoon for the FCC. Hopefully this time they won't be denied because they're too close to Q and A caches. (That happened with our first try last week.) :)

Good new for me! It appears all three of the caches we "hid" yesterday were approved! One explicitly, and the other two implicitly. I'll add them to the list tomorrow. To help you plan your potential hides, one is behind the hospital, one in the bush south of LU and one near the William St bridge over the McIntyre. I'm happy. ;)

PS: Did I mention I made the reservations at Montanas yesterday? Room formall who
RSVP'd and a few more. Let me know if you're coming and you haven't RSVP'd yet. Thanks.

Last year Susan and I came to the FCC 09 and really enjoyed ourselves. We must have walked at least 10 miles. Susan has to work this year, but I was thinking of coming. The problem is that I don't want to walk, but I don't own a bike. Does anyone have a bike they could lend me for the event.
