Strange way to meet a new cacher.
« on: May 21, 2010, 10:12:48 AM »
Had the pleasure of having another man shave my chest. :o Went for a another stress test today, and changed into my exercise clothes had my chest shaved, and the leads attached. This male attendant then asked if the coat hanging up was mine. He noticed the geocaching patch. He Introduced himself as CanadianStock   ;D who has just signed up but had been caching with his Father Surprise me, and his mother YQT. I have been shaved in more compromising areas, but that was a life and death situation, and I should have known better and done it myself, as I have been through this 4 times now. LOL. Great to meet you CanadianStock  ;D Hope we meet again, but not under these circumstances. Go for those FTF's as we have to give them up, due to the circumstances, And hope the hint helps. Good luck.

When I was in Thunder Bay Regional Hospital for my angiogram after my heart attack (Nov 2006),  The nurse that was there in the cardiac ward was the same nurse that was in emergency at McKeller Hospital in Nov 1989 when I was there with a skull fracture after a car accident at Hurkett.

Does that count as a strange way to met someone again?  At least one part was the same as H-K - the heart was involved.  No geocaching involved!

jleecollins - that could have been YQT, she works in Emerge now and had also worked at McKeller on 4 south, I don't think that was the cardiac ward though.  Hmmm.

Thanks for the regards Surpriseme. Got an atta boy from my cardiologist, who just happened to being doing the stress testing today. Good to go,  I am now free from cardiac rehab.  Woohoo. I find it strange that Jlee and I both had heart attacks on the same day. Oct. 23rd.  We both share more than an obsession with geocaching. Just have to learn to slow down and relax. Relax ? whats that ?

That is why geocaching is so much fun.  Sometimes a cardiac workout when we don't even realize it.

Just think we both did "The Crack" between heart attacks (mine and yours) - now that was a cardiac experience.

It is all that crazy geocaching and cardiac workout is why the stress test goes so well.

Slow down - what's that?

Hey, a whole new area to geocache in a couple of weeks - 3 provinces within an hours drive of New Glasgow - 4 if you include Newfoundland.  I won't have to travel hours to go geocaching.

First thing we are going to do when we get there is to have an meet and greet event "Meet the Crazies from NWOG"  we should have it when the Mechpeople are out there.  What do you think Mechman?
