Congratulations JungleBus on the three-pete! Good job guys! Also, well done to Wandering_Man for a close fought second place. Chris, not only have you hidden the best geocache ever, but you did a great job with the CITO prizes! Thank you for all your time, effort and expense that you put into ensuring that we're CITOing.
Everyone who participated, thank you! All your well thought out and well hidden caches made for a very fun 24 hours. Now, go get some sleep. I look forward to reading all your logs in tomorrow.

Have to say JB are real decent cachers. Different than others, not the manic approach to caching (like us and many others) I always ask Kathy why don't they cache on a regular basis. They do a few here and a few there, But when a challenge comes up they clean up, as if it was a piece of cake? I don't get it, but we have had the opportunity to meet them both at several events, soft spoken and real helpful if you need a hint or ten, and their caches are always enjoyable, except Pioneer cache which sucked turd through a straw
. They work and plan their routes and are obviously the champs again for a reason. A big high five to a humble couple. Well deserved. Thanks for the jug of beer you two for posting this, if it was not what you wanted, let us know, and we will edit.

A great caching event... a suggestion for next year... make the Cairn the trophy that JB gets if they win a 4th in a row and insist that they carry it with them to all caches -> this might actually slow them down a bit and give some of us a chance.
Way to go JB for 3 in a row... and beautiful "best pick" for Chris' cache!

We are members of the East End Mafia. 75 years of protecting the turf. Dirty deeds done dirt cheap. Did you want the Deluxe package, which includes massive bone and cranial damage? 50 bucks only gets you a bent toenail.

That is cheap Phil. We will not be undersold!!!! Free removal of body tissue with every order. Now that will get wandering man close to FTF. Tires ? Go Big or stay home. LOL. JB deserved the win. But Wandering Man is young and Hungry Like the wolf. Stay tuned to this battle of the titans.

You're making it sound like I'm willing to fight fair on this one.. I've decided its better to revert to my Italian roots and take them out mafia style..
All kidding aside Junglebus are true competitors and worthy champions. Congrats to them!

So we couldn't stay for dinner as we had a shag to work (the only place you can work and drink....which you shouldn't) so I just heard the news that JB took the win again. Well i'll tell you I'am not one for jumping on the band wagon, but I might have to look into the "bus" as it seems to hit all the right stops, great work again you two.

Well thanks guys... at least for the comments that weren't about slashing our tires, bending our toenails and making us carry around a cairn!! Haha. As for HK's question about not caching all the time.. it's the 3 & 5 year olds that we are normally taking caching with us that means we can't just go out and find zillions of caches all the time.. so we do the slow family-friendly pace for the year, and then allow our competitive nature out once in awhile at challenges

Yep hear you on the kid part. But it amazes us that you can go into a challenge and cleanup. If we have not cached in a few weeks we are rusty and it takes time to get into the groove again. You 2 are amazing. Again Way to go, and congratulations,

For anyone who did not attend the dinner or for some reason I didn't get your stats during the dinner, please email or PM them in to me so that I can include them in the final results!

I know this is late coming, but if you're interested to see what it takes to get a FTF on the McKeller Lagoon Islands cache, here's a little video of Wandering_Man doing it at the Spring Cache Challenge. Don't worry ladies (and those with a faint heart, I've edit out the inappropriate bits.
