Bounty Hunter Bonus
« on: May 07, 2010, 12:02:05 PM »
You probably noticed that under Bonus Points there is a line that says: Additional bonus point descriptions may follow… Well, here we go!

Bounty Hunter Bonuses
You can be a bounty hunter, just like Boba Fett from Empire Strikes Back (or Dog the Bounty Hunter if you prefer,) while you're out caching in the Spring Cache Challenge this year. No later than 24 hours before the beginning of this years SCC, there will be 3 bounties posted on the NWOG website. Each bounty will be a list of specific caches (drawn at random) have it's own point value. You can expect a large list with a large bounty point and two smaller lists with corresponding bounty points.

Whatever happened to the fun carefree  spring cache challenge ? Now you need a corporate lawyer to read through the rulz to verify if you are doing it right. Glad We are working, this is giving me a headache. Headaches are not fun.  ;)

You guys. If people didn't know any better, they'd think you were really complaining. :)

C'mon WM, give me some help here.

And you thought you had problems with my complaining

I don't post often--but this just sounds stupid to me--just leave it as it is.  This is just getting too complicated,  I'm with H-K on this one. ???  >:(

Wow I'm amazed at the responses here. Frankly I'm surprised that people can be so negative towards something that really is so simple and meant to add some additional fun to the event.

This really isn't a hard concept. If you don't want to do the bounty hunter portion of the SCC, then you don't have to. For those looking for a little more fun, excitement and challenge it will be an option. Honestly is the SCC just a chance for people to score a bunch of caches? If that's all it is then I don't see a point in putting the effort into organizing it. After all simply placing caches for people to find can be done at anytime by
anyone.

It is really disheartening for those taking the time to organize these events to be met with a flurry of complains. Come on people this is supposed to be fun!

sAz, I like the idea (no surprise there) and I look forward to the added challenge at the SCC.

Good question Chris. Did think of this, but forgot to explain it. As a bit of a break for those who hid caches, they don't have to find their own to claim the bounty. So, you're set!
