GET OUT OF MY SWAMP!
Ice54 Cache Hunt

Just wondering if anyone is interested in tackling a cache of ICE54's this weekend - Saturday in particular - around 10:00ish start - to be even more particular? They all sound like good hikes, and good vantage points. I really don't care which one, but just don't really want to wander up alone. McRae View is still unfound...perhaps a little search party is in order? We could have some crazy way of determining the FTF...
..I'd love to get a few of these caches out this way done, but all seem too hard for the little Mechs, so wondering if there are others out there that would like to go for a hike in the woods to find a container?? Perhaps a series of hikes over the next few (except for SCC weekend) weekends may work out??
Mech
PS - Does anyone know ICE54? Has he/she been to any events?? Would be nice to meet them. Their caches are the ones that I love the most....a little bit of effort (and some exercise-which is a good thing for me)...but a great view and a good cache when you get there!

I would be interested in finding his caches, but saturday would be bad for me. Sunday would work better though.

I'm interested too. But can't commit to being there. I'll keep watching this thread and perhaps I'll see you guys there if things work out for me. Good idea though, Mech.

Sounds like fun, but this being Mother's Day weekend (didn't forget did you??
) I have the junior hunters all by myself. Mama is off with the girls on their annual trip to Duluth. These appear a little too difficult for us at this time. Have fun and take some pictures. Look out for the ticket man!

Last call for interest on a hike tomorrow....so far all I have is a mabye from Shroom. If I don't get any others interested by say 10:00 tonight I think I'll call it off.

Learn how to use a compass. Gps is fine until it does not work, and it sucks to have to eat your friends to live.

i went last weekend for fox mountain, it was very wet and lots of mud, hiking boots helped alot, came out wet sweaty covered in mud and bug bites.
