It's not really the organizing; there just was not alot of garbage to clean up to warrant 2 visits a year.  I'm thinking that the spring is most important time.  Perhaps we could do greenspace CITOs during the fall.

Have we done any cleaning yet at the far end of the area? Or just around the snow plow pull off?

I would actually think that the fall clean up would yield more since people tend to travel more in the summer.  But I'm cool with whatever. Cleaning another greenspace in Tbay would be great too since families can join in and it helps the communitee.

For me, doing the cleanup in the evening was great. It was a good time to do it and it was a short time. And the site was pretty clean still from the fall cleanup. I wonder if people throw out more garbage in the summer than over the winter. It think keeping on top of the cleanup by doing it twice a year will make the cleanups easier and faster.

I agree with Shroom.  Two events would make for a faster and easier time of it.  Also, two events might just give me a chance to attend one.   ;)
