Hwy 11/17 CITO

Boy, what a busy spring for events. I really do not want to add to the events but we should come up with a date for the Adopt a Highway CITO. Any suggestions?
After a drive by of the site, I can see it does requires a little care.
We have a responsiblity to do at least 2 clean ups/ year and I am sure we would like to avoid the black flies.

Is there even a weekend without an event planned from now till the end of May? lol
I know I'm basically booked for something on every weekend from now till June.

This doesn't need to be on a weekend. The day is lasting longer, instead of an evening of caching, we could set up a evening of CITO. I'm sure a couple hours on the snowplow turn arounds would improve the site.
What about a Wed or Thur???
I would hope for at least 5 volunteers.

Remember weekends are better for out-of-towners

Jim, I agree and realize that a week night would make this difficult but I just want to keep our commitment with MTO and the weekends this spring seem full for those that don't geocache full-time
. Our fall CITO might be better set on a weekend.
Just my thoughts.

If it were the right Thursday evening, I could be game for it. Pick some dates and see who's available.

Please read the new poll for the Hwy CITO and select the best date for you. How does this sound....Meet at the Landmark at before 6pm and at the Adopt-A-Hwy at 6:30ish. Clean for 1-2 hrs and head home.
I will submit an event once the best date is chosen.

I am likely unavailable on the 18 -19. 26 would work better for me.

The
NWOG Adopt a Highway CITO: Spring 2010
has been submitted for Wed June 9, 2010 from 6pm to 8pm. The carpool (meeting place) is the Landmark and the clean up will occur just north of Pearl.
The GC# is
GC296T3
.
Okay, so you may ask... why the poll?
I did read your posts but I was just too busy to organize this event for the suggested times. This time works better for me and better for you (I hope
).
