My caches for the SCC2010 were placed over the past 2 days.  So they are ready to be found in 6 weeks.

However, if someone wants to take their extra hide and hide it in a Zone 2 or Zone 3 area, I'm cool with that.  8)

Maybe add this to the official rules, and maybe add some tips on how to cheat so we do not have to be forced to place a multi, or puzzlecahe, or  letterbox if we wish to hide 5 or 6 caches, and  just have lots of ammo cans in an area. ;D Not that we have lots of ammo cans ;)

Hey H+K, I've tweaked the rules so that your extra cache in Zone 1 (once you hide four other caches) is now an extra cache in the zone of your choice. Thanks!

Too late for some people who have placed all theirs caches already - wait that was only me.

No Problems though - we like where we put our caches.

We did have another potential spot in zone 3a, which we will use another time.

Sorry Jim!. But then again, you wanted to start hiding caches before this years rules were even up. :)

I read the rules, scratch my head and just am going to toss out a bunch of ammo cans where ever I please. I will have them held for the spring cache challenge and you can decide which ones you like. ;) What the heck else am I go to do with them ? Put ammo in them ?

I did better this year for waiting the rules - not like last year - I think the rules were out this years before I did my hides - at least for the zones.

Anyway, he who go out first gets the best spots with no interference from other caches already placed for the event.

So far I've got RSVPs on the cache listing for 24 people. I'll be making reservations on Wednesday, so if you're planning on joining us for dinner, RSVP before then (and let your friends know too!) Thanks!

What was the capacity of the room we had last year? Remember we had to overflow last year, but I am sure we had way more people attending. Still early and hopefully there will be more attending.

The party room at Chicago Joe's fits 30 people comfortably. We had closer to 40 in there last year. Right now, we're expecting ~30 folks, so hopefully we can push it to the max again. :)

And, as I make the call to book a month in advance... it's already booked at 6pm! So, the search for a different location begins! We could get a meeting room at the Victoria Inn for ~$200. I'm looking into other options. Suggestions welcome.  :-\

Be careful what you suggest, I'll have to conscript you into service if we go that way! :) Might have a line on something where others can serve us though. I'll keep you posted.

Okay, we're booked in at Gargoyle's Grille (I'll change the event listing to reflect this.) They've got a great menu, (and plenty of good draft on tap.) We'll be up in the Mezzanine level looking down on everyone. So, we're back in business! Woo! :D

I was offering you up for service, not me... Geez  ::)

Excellent choice. I was there two weeks ago. The mezzanine looked like a great place for a large group gathering.
