Coffee and Cacher's Event II
« on: December 09, 2009, 08:37:53 AM »
Seeing as the first event was deemed a success, we have decided to attempt another one in January.

Right now a certain someone who wishes to remain anonymous has floated the date of Sunday January 10th, 2010 @ 1:00pm. Unless there are any major objections to this date, we will move forward with it.

Of course the other question to ask is what caches do we look at doing? So if people have ideas of whats out there to nab please post them up in here. Also post of any addition comments about the date, time or whatever you feel like adding to the discussion.

We would love to have a good turn out for this one and hopefully we have some good winter accessible caches to complete.

Since snowshoes could be required, we should see if we can get a group rental rate (for those that don't already have them).

I have access to about 6 or 7 sets of snowshoes through the scouts in Marathon.  I am not sure of the number of sets I have.  They are in my storage area.  I will get a count when I get back to Marathon on the 18th or 19th.

I also know that H-K have their own snowshoes

Hey, what's going on for C&C this month? Are we going to do the 10th, or should we postpone a couple weeks and plan it right (with a real event cache?) :) WM?

I think we should put this one off till we can properly plan an event. Not sure when I will have a chance to do that. I have a rather busy month ahead of me.

I think Jim has a good idea; why not do this month's C and C in Marathon on the 23th.  If their is no big snow event; I plan on going.

Should be Coffee and Cache

Meet - go caching - come back - have coffee to warm up - or dinner

Sounds like people are in favour of piggy-backing on the marathon event. So I say have at it!  ;D
