That's a cool site Chris. I had stumbled across it before looking for images of the Whalen Building. Pretty neat that there are Thunder Bay "skyscrapers" in there. I wonder who made them (and why?) There are a couple buildings there I was thinking of working on too, the Ironworks and the OPG stack. It'd be cool to have the Royal Eddy done as well. Hopefully, once other people start seeing Thunder Bay buildings in the 3D layer of GE they'll be inspired to make some too! :)

Wow, you guys are doing an awesome job with this stuff.  It's way beyond me though....especially time wise.  I can't wait to see the next ones you guys come up with.

Looks good WM. The CN Station is taking a lot longer than the other buildings I've tried (and I spend 30minutes here, 20minutes there.) Who's going to tackle PACI? Then we can do Red River all the way down to the Marina. :) Hee hee.

Are there other significant buildings throughout the northwest that anyone would like to see done? I'm thinking that Holiday Inn in Kenora might be worth doing.

PS: I see that the CN Baggage Building has been approved! Ha!

I really need to take some time this weekend and get out to take some photographs of the buildings. Right now all I'm really missing on the catholic church is textures and then I can submit it.

Magnus is going to be a little easier I think due to its basic shapes and small amount of detailed components...

Maybe when I'm out photographing I will take some pics of PACI as well and see what can be done. :D

Haven't actually submitted them yet. The church still needs texture on the front (I'm missing a picture of it) and Magnus for some reason is twice the file size allowance. I'm attempting to re-texture it with smaller photos. If that doesn't work I'll have to start over.

Did anyone notice that someone else has built Maple Crest Tower on Beverly St?

Yeah, I saw that too. They created a new group, Thunder Bay, Canada (as opposed to Thunder Bay, Ontario Canada) and put all my buildings in it too. I attempted to remove mine from the new group, and accidentally deleted the CN Baggage building. Hopefully, it'll come back soon though. WM, we'll add your buildings to the Thunder Bay, ONTARIO Canada group. :D

Just an update on the CN Station. I had to restart it last week after it stopped loading in Google Earth. I've been learning lots on this one.

Fantastico, Wandering_Man! Looks great! A very impressive first offering!

Oh, and I just noticed that the old Academy Towers was published too. That's two new buildings this week.

I know there are lot's of creative computer types out there, just waiting for a real deepfreeze to set in before they start building, I guess. :)

I was looking for streets with my name (on Google Earth) in them and guess what I found? Well, I found Darren Ave in Kenora and I also found the 3D Kenora City Hall building. It's really well done, check it out.
