NWO Geocachers rule this section of highway, the cleanest section of the Trans Canada Highway, All members should be proud that we now have adopted this section, thanks to Chris's hard work. Never thought work could be this much fun. How does one lose runners, sweatpants, shirts, gotch, all in a small area? What the heck where you doing out here ? One of the most gratifying and satisfying things we have done, when you see the pile of trash tossed out by inconsiderate individuals, in one large pile. Thanks Chris for getting this up and running.

Indeed! Thanks Chris for organizing the CITO and doing all the legwork to get our 2km patch of highway adopted. You did a great job. The event was loads (27 loads) of fun, the camaraderie was top notch, and there weren't nearly as many bottles of Mountain Dew out there as we were led to believe. (I hope that didn't stop anyone from showing up, Chris found someone to donate great gloved to the event.)
In fact, once we cleaned the areas around the turn-arounds, the rest was a great walk up and down the highway. We got lots of appreciation honks from drivers and just had a great time! (Best line of the event? Hunter yelling "Shut up!" to the millionth car that beeped at us.) Can't wait to check out the photos! Thanks again Chris and it was great hanging out with you all today.
PS: Thanks for taking us all to the Keg for supper afterward too Chris!

Congratulations on all your hard work - It was certainly a nice day - Wish I was there but I am still in Winnipeg - I was doing my volunteer work at a Cub Camp this weekend at Delta Beach north of Portage la Prairie

Kathy and I stopped by the west side of our stretch today on the way home. New garbage to pick up. Are people insane? That was maddening, 2 days latter and and to see that? Why can people not put their garbage in a little bag and toss it in their trunk or back of the pickup? I would almost like to be there when they do that and ask them why they just done that. Dumb as a bag full of hammers ? IQ of a stick? I just don't get it.

Sigh! This is getting really frustrating. Brad and I can't seem to get any days off together to do any caching, let alone events. Can't remember the last time I had a weekend off. Great job guys! Really wish we could have made it.
Was cursing a blue streak when I realized I had to work the fall Cache Challenge too.... some day.....
