Happy cache release day to all! Is everyone all excited for the new caches? I know I can't sit still today, but maybe that's the coffee's fault..  ;)

Ooh! They just showed up in my inbox! Happy release day everyone!  ;D

Now, to go and ensure that the list on the front page of the site is linking correctly.

Oh, and... Thanks for hiding a cache in my backyard phillipie99! I'll have to make sure my son is FTF on that one. :)

Yup, halfway there. Give me a few more minutes. I'm getting sidetracked already trying to plan my route. :)

The cache spread is much more even than I was expecting. About half are north and east of Boulevard and the other half are south and west. I was expecting there to be a lot north of Arundel and more (there are none) in that area directly west of the lake. This will make for an interesting hunt for sure.

Okay, I've got a Bookmark list set up with each of the FCC caches in it. I'm just waiting for the PQ to arrive in my inbox. When it does, I'll upload it here.

I only see 20 caches on the map from geocaching.com.

What happened to the missing cache?

Never mind the 21th cache just appeared.

Have a great Event - Wish I was there - but earning a paycheque is more important at this time.  Any time-off I take, I don't get paid.

I will be heading to a MBGA Pub-Night Event on Friday, October 2 and then to Carman and Morden, MB for geocaching on Saturday.

I will be thinking of all of you walking biking, complaining about aches and pains after the event, especially the one who don't ride bikes bery often.  So  H-K was the last time you had your bikes out for the 2008 Ecochallenge?  LOL

Take Care and Happy Caching, Jim

Paper is a biodegradable, renewable, sustainable product made from trees. Growing and harvesting trees provides jobs for millions of men and women, and working forests are good for the environment, providing clean air, clean water, wildlife habitat & carbon credits. Please remember to recycle after.

Heck no Jim, I ride my bike every day to work, summer and Winter, it's only 5 blocks away though. The good thing about working close to home is no need for a second vehicle. But we won't be in this challenge anyway, have to work, so no way to tell if my body can take 6 blocks +.
If you don't like the way I drive....Stay off the sidewalk.

Animals taste good.

Learn how to use a compass. Gps is fine until it does not work, and it sucks to have to eat your friends to live.

Arrgghh!!  Just went to put out my caches, and busted a the chain on the way into one of them!!!  Hopefully I'll have time to get it fixed before Saturday AM!!

Just a note that the recent wind storm has made Thunder Bay's Least Most Difficult Cache, a little more difficult..still reachable though....

I will be placing my caches early Sat. morning to avoid muggles.   So don't bother looking for the unactivated coins before the event ;D.

Alright, here's the PQ for the FCC 2009 caches. Happy caching.

PS: I'm glad I'm not the only one putting my cache out close to the event. Marathon Man Returns is already out (man I wish I could share my photos of it with you,) but I'm waiting to put Nevermore out later this week. :)
