WANTED: NWOG Coins For Sale or Trade

Well, it's exciting now to see the interest in the NWOG geocoin. Having held one in my hand (sorry, I don't mean to be taunting you who are waiting until Wednesday I can say, they are really classy coins. I'm quite pleased with them.

I've also got a couple requests, just this morning, from people looking to obtain some of these coins for themselves. This is what I'm telling people. There were 100 coins minted, pre-ordered and pre-sold. That means, all the coins that were minted are not only spoken for, but paid for and owned by NWOGeocachers. That said, not only are we a friendly bunch, but most of us bought more than we would have, if we didn't need to make the minimum order to get the coins made in the first place. So, there are probably people with the 2009 NWOG geocoin who would be willing to sell some of their coins or make trades for other interesting coins.

If you are interested in obtaining a coin or two, post a message in this thread stating if you're interested in buying or trading and what you have to trade.

If you are interested in letting a coin or two go, post a message here stating how many coins you are selling or trading.

Then get in touch with each other either through email or the internal message system here and work out the details. As a suggestion, events are a great place to meet and swap coins, and there may be one coming up this Thursday, May 28th at 7pm.

Hey guys,

I wasn't around when the coins were being ordered so I was wondering if someone would be willing to sell me a couple of coins. I won't be able to attend the event on Thursday, but Shroom is willing to pick up the coins for me and dispense the funds.

I'm just looking for maybe 2 coins.

A couple of my unactivated coins may end up in new caches this summer; the question is can you beat Hunter Killer?  Don't worry, they will be puzzle caches (Hunter Killer's kryptonite).

Like Scouts where we trade badge for badge - I would probably be willing to trade unactivated geocoin for unactivated gecoin.

I am getting quite a collection of geocoins (some cost me $30 per coin - but they are huge)  All of my collection are activated.  Maybe I will bring a bunch of them out on Thursday for people to see and discover.  They are a collection - I have not put any into any caches.  I mainly buy ones that I like.
